THAT IS AWESOME! And it made me cry. Thank you so much. I’ve been thinking about getting her new album based on “Stupid Girls” alone. That song put me in a definite “yes” column. It’s so good that there are still some voices out there, saying things that need to be said. The Dixie Chicks rock too.
It made me cry too.
So good for her for speaking up in a country where dissidents can still disappear.
As a mother, the state of the world, OUR new gov’t and the road the US is heading down makes me foaming mad. There is only so much a parent can do to provide a good and safe world for their child. It breaks my heart knowing what the future may have in store. I’d love for Nero’s fiddle to cover this one. I have the chords already.
I was also thinking it would be an excellent cover for us. Right up there with Heros and Warriors.
