That’s right folks, Nero’s Fiddle (Formerly the Trillingham Ladies’ Chorus) will be performing at the Royal Medieval Faire in Waterloo on Saturday September 23. It’s a disappointingly uninformative website, but a great little community faire, run by lovely people. Why not come and check us out. We’ve had a minor lineup change, and some new material, but still the same Dockside Doxies you’ve come to love.
We’re on at 1:00pm and 2:30pm.
In the tavern, naturally.
Come later if you like. *ahem!*
But we’ll already be done. ;-D
Then hopefully a busy winter of arranging and recording ahead.
Stay tuned.
We seriously need to use Dockside Doxies as an album title.
Drat, I’ve waited all year for it, and now I can’t go. I’ll be hosting a day long party up at the University for up to 2000 people (http://b2.feds.ca).
If Nero’s Fiddle ever feels like doing more performing in the KW area, the Battle of the Bards (http://www.battleofthebards.ca) would be delighted to have you, I’m sure. There is, however, no compensation for appearing (the cash prizes are miniscule), except the adoration of a smallish (~50-75) crowd.
Thanks Eric! We’ll keep it in mind.
All best!
Trudy

Yeah, you’d like my MiT name: “Piccolo Basso”. If anyone asks me what it means, I’ll sullenly mumble that I don’t want to talk about it.
Have fun! Say hi to everyone for us (and get a picture of Roy’s new daughter for me if you get a chance).
